In Memory

Anthony Wiens

Anthony passed away on December 30, 2004, after a strong battle with cancer. At the time he was living in Lemoore, but he never lost his quest for adventure, and the hope that he'd someday leave the valley for the greener pastures of a big city. Anthony was a fabulous cook, and lover of fine food. Anthony is survived by his wife, Gina, and their son, Jake.

Anthony's wife Gina would like to stay in contact with some of his old friends. Please let me know and I'll be the "middle man" and put you in touch.

Rest in peace my friend Anthony.

Tony and I will be remembered together in his Green Charger or my Green 1967 Olds Cutlass. We had many adventures and similar paths to walk. We both drove the cotton Haggies in the Summer of 74. He did the military and I did my own fight w cancer, being told in Oct 74 that I had at most 2 years to live. I lost my leg but prevailed over my battle, the same as Edward Kennedy, Jr prevailed over his. I will miss Anthony. We exchanged letters when he was in the military. He didn't like it as much as he thought he would as I recall. We always planned to keep in touch. I regret very much not knowing of his illness. I would have gone to see him if I had known he was in Lemoore. I will miss Anthony and am deeply saddened by his passing. I am painfully reminded of the old saying, life is short. So long my friend.
